To check and comment on facility and security documentation prepared by lawyer
To check appropriate security and facility documents are properly executed
To review the credit limit of borrowers and other relevant information to ensure proper input in the system
To perform supervisor release of the transactions done by the users in the system
To prepare, update and check the reports (monthly/quarterly) to the relevant department/management
To monitor for the submission of credit data of SME borrowers to CCRA and CRA
To witness the signing of guarantee
To prepare minutes of Loan Committee meeting and Asset Taskforce meeting
To rationalize work procedure and monitoring reports compiling of the section and update CAS guidelines
Degree holder in Business Administration / Diploma in Legal Study, Banking or other related disciplines
15 years of credit administration / loan documentation experience with at least 10 years at supervisory level
In-depth knowledge of banking products and non-standard loan documentations is a must
Hands-on experience in credit control and monitoring functions
Well-versed with computer software skills
Good command of English and Chinese
Good inter-personal and communication skills
Able to work independently and under pressure

Lead and execute ECM transactions efficiently and effectively
Handle all coverage and/or execution-related matters independently
Work with senior bankers and other departments and branches in identifying and pitching to potential clients and in winning new mandates
Lead junior ECM bankers during pitching to provide input where ECM department is responsible such as ECM market updates, valuation pages for potential issuer, road show materials, potential investor interest, profiles, suggest pre-marketing and road show schedules. At the client pitches, to be able to present on the aforementioned ECM-related sections
To ensure that the necessary documentation and processes are in place for the Chinese Walls among different departments (such as corporate finance, sales and/or research during mandated transaction
Ensure that sales and research have the necessary information on the company as well as kept up-to-date on the timetable so that sales and research can execute their jobs effectively such as the provision of the Sales Memo, research timetable, appropriate materials for research to write, coordination of site visits for potential investors, coordinating the meetings between potential investors and issuers’ management
Strong communication bridge to Sales during a live book building transaction by giving sales updates on the book colour, peer comparable valuation thereby helping to build demand momentum
Help the syndicate desk during book building in building a strong case with the issuers to ensure good allocation for bank’s sales clients
Master Degree holder or CFA is preferable
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within an ECM department of an investment bank
Strong business acumen, good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is a must
Candidates with less experience will be considered as AVP
